Euro financing
For businesses
We offer euro financing to businesses with euro revenue, providing significantly lower
interest rates compared to forint interest rates.
Key features of euro financing
- Currency for disbursement: Euro, and the seller issues a euro invoice (a forint invoice equivalent option is available, see forint equivalent financing below).
- Record-keeping and monthly payments are in euros.
- No currency conversion is required.
- Available in both open-end and closed-end financial leasing structures.
- Options for fixed or variable interest rates.
- Euro interest rates, which are more favorable compared to forint interest rates.
- Minimum financed amount: 10,000 euros.
- Available to businesses whose monthly euro (or euro-related currency) revenue exceeds the monthly instalment amount (for open-end leasing, this is the net leasing fee).
- Required for assessment (in addition to standard documentation): General ledger extract to substantiate the necessary euro revenue.
Forint Equivalent Euro Financing: Payment in Euro, Disbursement in Forint
We have introduced a special “forint-equivalent” option for euro financing for cases where
the seller can only issue invoices in forint.
Differences in the forint-equivalent euro financing option compared to euro financing:
- The seller issues an invoice in forint for the vehicle or asset, and disbursement is also made in forint.
- The contract shows the down payment and financed amount in forint (these figures remain unchanged), but the monthly euro amounts are for reference only.
- After disbursement, we determine the euro amounts for the financed amount, monthly instalment, residual value, or the final highlighted instalment (if applicable), and the leasing capital, based on the euro commercial buying rate of MBH Bank at the time of disbursement.
We inform our customers about this in writing.
It’s worth noting that the calculations made with our euro calculator are also applicable to forint equivalent financing because the euro interest rate is the same for both options. The euro calculator displays the financed amount in euros, not forint. The euro amount for monthly instalments is also indicative because the exchange rate at the time of disbursement is not yet known. As per the details mentioned above, we determine the final euro amounts after disbursement.
